Just as Darwin was incredibly ignorant about the cell, due to the level of scientific knowledge at the time, the lack of scientific knowledge since Darwin’s time or the level of it has continued to plague Darwinists since his time.
As a matter of fact, continuing scientific advancement in biology, archaeology, and in sciences like genetics for example have made the theory of evolution more untenable.
Expect this problem of scientific advancement being a detriment to evolutionary explanations to continue and to accelerate.
It was a surprise to everyone that DNA could even be extracted from these supposedly eons-aged bones and teeth. Wait until they are able to extract it from the supposed predecessors to man and find out what we already knew; they are simply simians.
The study of and the implications of DNA knowledge and technology have really damaged the “scientific” “descent of man story”. Science’s demagoguery about ancient hominins and ancient bare-knuckled, hairy, apelike ancestors has really come on hard times.
Turns out that no matter how hairy and ape-like science illustrators have drawn these ‘Human ancestors”, they have our genes and back in the day they met and had children together as People do.
To continue to call them a hominid now is frankly ad hominem.
Before we peek at some recent headlines, please keep these facts in mind;
“A species is often defined as the largest group of organisms in which any two individuals of the appropriate sexes or mating types can produce fertile offspring, typically by sexual reproduction.
Other ways of defining species include their karyotype, DNA sequence, morphology, behavior or ecological niche.” Wikipedia
Cro-Magnon, Neanderthal, Denisovans and “moderns” all intermingled and had offspring. They are the same species so there is no point in continuing to call them “hominins” or archaic humans or any terms used to convey the evolutionary story.
DNA tells a completely different story. They are all the same with albeit regional differences as may exist today in a human population. To say that so and so has 1.4% Neanderthal DNA is an attempt to obscure the truth with evolution language.
No different than finding out that you have 1.4% “Native American” ancestry.
That doesn’t suggest anything at all about “evolution”. All human DNA is 99.9999 percent identical and now that clearly includes everyone at the table. Please pass the gravy.

Abstract
Previous research has shown that modern Eurasians interbred with their Neanderthal and Denisovan predecessors. We show here that hundreds of thousands of years earlier, the ancestors of Neanderthals and Denisovans interbred with their own Eurasian predecessors—members of a “superarchaic” population that separated from other humans about 2 million years ago.
The superarchaic population was large, with an effective size between 20 and 50 thousand individuals. We confirm previous findings that (i) Denisovans also interbred with superarchaics, (ii) Neanderthals and Denisovans separated early in the middle Pleistocene, (iii) their ancestors endured a bottleneck of population size, and (iv) the Neanderthal population was large at first but then declined in size. We provide qualified support for the view that (v) Neanderthals interbred with the ancestors of modern humans.
Comment: Clearly we are not in support of the timescale presented here. Presented to show sciences consternation that "super-archaics"interbred. This is only surprising if you had put them off as separate, competing and then dying out competitors to "modern humans". DNA is making such positions of evol thought "super archaic".

-SCIENCE INDUSTRY HAS CATCHING UP TO DO
If you think of the current human genetic diversity in the world, that same diversity today encompasses the range between Denisovans, Cro-Magnon, Neanderthal and “modern” humans.
Same family, no big deal but science is trying to maintain the fiction by continuing to illustrate them-although they have improved, as primitive facially, and in their stances, and in their continued insistence and return to old tropes.
They have your DNA people and they intermingled and married each other and found each other attractive. How different could they be? But science is still in wonder at their similarities based on these recent headlines.

Modelling of Neanderthal ear canals reveals they were tuned to certain sounds that are common in modern speech.
The anatomy and physiology of the Neanderthal ear suggests that these early humans could communicate much like modern humans do.
Comment: Huh?! Beg your pardon? These people who were just like us could hear like us? Good thing too because otherwise how could Neanderthal and Denisovans have asked each other out?
Or can you imagine: “Look out”! There’s a saber-tooth behind you! What? Says Neanderthal pointing to his useless ears.

The first Denisovan individual was identified through DNA extracted from a finger bone of a juvenile individual. The individual was thought to have been closely related to Neanderthals.
Although evidence of Neanderthals living in the same cave was found, scientists did not assume that they ever interbred (at that time they assumed not). From a scientific-evolutionary perspective it was better if they had not interbred as it helped preserve the separate species leading to modern man story.
After all, they are still filled with wonder that this weird ancient species (Neanderthal) could even hear like “us”. Some scientists refuse to concede that they had speech or a language.
Back to Denisovans; note that they have still managed to artistically depict them even though we have no skull or other bones.
“Additional specimens from Denisova Cave were subsequently identified, as was a single specimen from the Baishiya Karst Cave on the Tibetan Plateau in China. DNA evidence suggests they had dark skin, eyes, and hair, and had a Neanderthal-like build and facial features.” (note: parts of a Denisovan skull recently found.
Here there be giants? Of course science would be notoriously quiet about anything that would upset the evolutionary apple cart so what is one to make of headlines like this one from Smithsonian Magazine:

Until recently, all that was known about the Denisovans was from DNA extracted from the finger and from a tooth. Now, (2015) a “Denisovan” molar has been found, identified as “Denisova 8” which is extremely large when compared with “modern humans”, Neanderthals, and Cro-Magon man.
From the Smithsonian Magazine article: “Paleontologists still don’t know exactly what the Denisovans looked like, but they did have teeth so big that at first they were Mistaken for Cave Bear teeth, Kaplan writes.”
Kaplan writes for the Washington Post and was quoted in the Smithsonian article.
The general consensus is that the tooth, shown in comparison to a modern molar in a photo attached to this post is that it is 2.5 to 4 times the size of a “modern human” molar.
I could go quote a scientific article suggesting that there is a correlation between the size of a tooth and the size of the human being but I don’t want to get too technical here.
Speculate among yourselves. How big/tall do you think someone could reasonably be with cave bear sized molars? I would think that the hardest case to make is that they are roughly the size of the rest of us humans.
Science as far as I can see doesn’t expressly want to speculate but some articles have dutifully reported on the huge size of the tooth and that its DNA indicated “interbreeding” as if humans can interbreed with other humans.

To be fair, he’s just doing the math. Straight correlation.

He has found a giant giraffe, baboons as big as modern gorillas, massive zebras and antelopes. But his most important find from the point of view of the evolution of man is two giant teeth.
They are either from a Chellean child or they are from another species of man hunted and eaten by cannibalistic Chelleans. (They appeared to be primary or “baby” teeth).
They are undoubtedly human and larger than any previously discovered. One molar is bigger than that of the mature molars of Peking Man (up to 9 feet tall).” NYT 1954.

At least they have had to modernize their depictions.
